Sitting on the border of Southern and Eastern China, Ganzhou is home to a massive Hakka population and is the hometown of many notable figures in Chinese history. The rich history and culture of the city, in addition to its location that connects the newly-formed Ganjiang Province to Guangdong, Fujian, and Hunan, makes it the perfect location as the provincial capital.
After the ceasefire with pro-Chiang forces led by General He Ying-Qin, Ganzhou became a vital city supplying the troops guarding the border between RGOC proper and the Southwestern Military and Political Council. Anyone smart enough is aware that SMPC's obedience to Nanjing is nothing but fragile and superficial - and, of course, so are the citizens of Ganzhou and Ganjiang.
